“Oh, I wish that I had that camera with me” or “Oh, I wish that I had that lens with me”. Fully agree, use the one you have; if it doesn’t do the work you want just get another one.
A Canon user, why not. We all use to get stuck in one brand or maybe two. A simple reason: brands make user ergonomics, handling, buttons, menus etc uniform among cameras; as got used to one got used to most of brand models.
