Today I will present Neil Milton, the author of Photos, mostly. Neil is a Scottish street photographer, photography teacher, writer and critic based in Warsaw, Poland but before anything else Neil is the guy who started to build the photographic community here on Substack.
From one street photographer to another, Neil captured the perfect description: "street photography is where my heart lies and I'm no happier than when I'm walking around searching for glimpses of gesture, expression, juxtaposition, and moments of wry humour." YES!!! Thank you and great photos!
Neil was one of the first photographers I found on Substack, so I was happy to read this and looking forward to reading more when he’s ready to return.
Thanks once again perfectlight. Neil, your work is fantastic, people are not trite as a subject (many people are afraid to even attempt photographing people), and I am an absolutely terrible, horrible, beat-resistant dancer. But if the music moves me, others are welcome to look the other way!!!
Thanks for having me. 🫡❤️
my pleasure and it is for the benefits of this community
Great to hear what you are up to Neil, and very sorry about the loss of your furry friend.
Good to hear from Neil again!
Thanks!
