And how hard it is to capture the rain drops in a photo! Great images and I resonate with what you have written about the sound of rain.

Nice photos! Ever thought of investing in waterproof camera case?

i have a very small digital camera (i did mention it in a previous post about the daily diary) that has a waterproof casing but it's not something that i use too much. for the film cameras, i'm not worried to much, let them dry and can use them again as new. for the full frame digital cameras i have rain covers that are going with me at every rugby match, even on sunny days.

I love the curve of the puddle at the bottom of the first image. Just enough to reveal the source of the reflection. Perfect.

I've been thinking about the distinction between your Industrial work and your non-indsutrial work since you posted about the issue with notifications. There's something interesting about the ways they do and don't overlap. Do you think about them differently? Maybe that's too general a question. I'm still trying to put my finger on something.

as long as you're not trying to put your finger on me ... 😂😂😂 (only joking!)

serious now. yes, i do treat them differently. i started with industrial as part of my everyday job until one day i've seen something strange/different and i said "hold on! this can be the subject of something interesting". from then on, i do look for something different or intrigue when on industrial settings. for industrial is more like shapes and things that people can't see every day as they don't have access. even for me might be restriction as i'm not aloud to take photos in certain circumstances. it is also about order/strict rules/repetitive things.

with rugby, it's all about action and the love of the game but also about people, their effort and resilience.

with film photos is more than anything about creativity, also about everyday life and slowing down to observe.

Thanks for the thoughtful response.

Really interesting about order/rules etc. I've heard it often said that photography is in part a matter of order (framing, structure etc.).

I always find it interesting to see photographers (or any artist really) move across mediums or genres.
