Wonderful - I love the colours of rusted metal - I can almost sense the rough surface. That last one almost looks like a staircase...the shapes would be great subjects for macro work too. 😊
Interesting shapes and textures, the seemingly random heaps given a very pleasing aesthetic form. I'm afraid I also end putting my scavenger head on from my previous working life as a maintenance engineer, looking in the scrap metal bin at my old spot, thinking "oo, that looks useful...mm, those 'I' beam offcuts could come in handy somewhere...". Old habits die hard - that could be why my shed is full of junk 🥴😂. Fortunately in this instance I'm quite content to simply enjoy it's visual appeal☺️
I'm almost caught up on reading posts from the last ten days. This one is great! I love that some smaller ones seem to pile on the top almost like candies in a jar.

oh, i understand. unfortunately i'm in no position to spend time there trying to do macro
Of course, I forget that these are through your work...it's such a pain when work gets in the way of fun! 😂
I like to think of this kind of material as " human traces of memory"

i think i'm happy i don't have a shed 😂
😅
Like Lin, I can almost sense the rough surface and the sharp cut edges of those rust beams. And yes, they would make a great macro object, too!
Nicely done. I always like when nature takes its revenge - rust - and starts to take back what we have extracted. Cool!
