The Sunday interview

Sunday is not my posting day but it will be. This is the official announcement about Sundays. There is a small but strong photography community here on Substack. The community started to take shape by an initiative of

Neil Milton

who put together a list (or a directory if you like - called Photostack) of people that are publishing a Substack with the same theme: photography.

The initiative was brought forward by two of

Marcel Borgstijn

ideas; one was an edition of Darkrooms Magazine dedicated to people on Photostack. (By the way, by following this link , you can download that edition of the magazine for free.)

Now I would like to create a “section” in which to promote all the people on Neil’s list and hopping to grow the community. My idea is to ask every person the same five questions regarding photography and publish it in a form of an interview (hence “The Sunday interview”) together with three photos chosen by the interviewed person.

What better read for a Sunday morning coffee?

Yesterday I’ve started to send a dirrect message to photography people on Photostack list. Some people did reply back but it looks like in order to protect privacy and spam (I don’t blame them), Substack doesn’t display my email address. So if you are a photographer or publish a photography related Substack and you are willing to take part , drop me an email with the subject “Substack interview” to
