Seize the moment
In a previous post I tried to explain how, for me, it’s more important to seize the moment than to cry about not having the favourite lens or camera at a certain time.
As a photographer, there are moments in life that one can’t just let pass. If a photographer is missing a sunset, it’s not the end of the world, tomorrow will be another sunset. But a photographer can not miss the first kiss at a wedding or cutting the cake – moments like this are gone forever. Same happens with sport photography – a goal is a unique moment it happens only once.
If a photographer is going to a wedding or a sporting event ready for what’s coming, it’s not the case when one is just walking on the street and something happens. What these examples have in common is the fact that the moment has to be seized, otherwise it’s gone. If for that, all it’s available it’s a phone, so be it – make the most of it and seize the moment.

i don't know who michael turek is but he is 100% right, the film will make you "work" for the photos and will make you more creative. but for that you need to understand the basic of photography and have few experiment. from the experiments don't expect too much, most of the photos can't be used.
the beauty of film is if you can afford to develop it yourself. otherwise the number of labs that will do it for you is getting smaller by the day. i might post something about film photography soon.
Smart shots, you really "size the moment" !
