what is industrial photography?

I don’t know if a definition of industrial photography exist but if I have to give one, it will be something like this: a type of photography used to capture images of industrial equipment, machinery, industrial landscape, workers and staff, processes and products /goods.

I would consider industrial photography as a specialised type as the photographer is facing lots of challenges: safety, lightning, access, and equipment, to name few.

This type of photography can be used in advertising, marketing and process documentation and the photographer often works with businesses or organisations that need to document their operations.
