Very unusual and interesting, perfectlight. I've not used that film and only seen a few examples. Do you know what triggers the purple colouration? It seems like a B&W film but somehow purple hues take over certain areas. Triggered by certain tonal values. I'm intrigued but my inner control freak would want to know how it would respond before taking the shots. I know. Weird....
i have no idea what triggers it, all i know it is made that way and sold as a coloured film. lomography has more than one type (sunshine, turquoise, some red-ish thing, something with yellow) and i presume it is the way they mix the emulsion. thank you for your comment!
Thanks. I just wondered. I've seen the ones you mention. They sell them at The Photographers' Gallery in London. Harman / Ilford have also brought out a few colourful / unusual emulsions. I might have to give one or two a go...
heard about ilford, never used them tho. from what i've seen on the internet done with ilford, they are not as "good" as lomo. but then again, i don't like the turquoise one from lomo so it is a matter of taste
As I've never used any of the more esoteric / experimental films stocks, I couldn't say which is good or bad. I've used Ilford products for 50 years (mostly their FP4 and HP5 products) but they did produce some beautiful (IMO) slide film (Ilfochrome) for what was referred to as a Cibachrome process - producing colour prints from the Ilfochrome colour slide film. However, that was a long time ago. I think you can still buy a newer version of Ilfochrome but I'm prett sure the Cibachrome process is long gone.

The subject is wonderful. I would love to go there for a walk with my camera. But it would defintiely wouldn’t have a Lomo film in it! 😉😜😘
