Autumn with love
Every year during the autumn months the internet is flooded with colourful images from all over the world. How can it not be? It is the most colourful season, a beautiful spectacle that is impossible to be missed or ignored. The display of colours on forests foliages or the harvest season was the subject of every type of art possible: poetry, painting, photography, kneeting, etc.
But the autumn is not only the season of colours, it is also the season of reflecting:
- reflecting on passing of time like Alex did in this post;
- remembering the departed ones like Ann Collins did here;
- celebrating death as a way to commemorate the loved ones and hoping that we will be remembered like Xavi Buendia explained in this post
As for me, this year I choose an Ansel Adams approach: “I can get a far greater sense of ‘colour’ through a well-planned and executed black and white image than I have ever achieved with colour photography”

Love the haystacks! And thanks for the mention, perfectlight!
I really like this. A lot. And I like the way you've connected to other stories in here, too.
