A protest on XP2
I’m a HP5 lover but lately I’m becoming more and more found of XP2. Ok, for those of you not familiar with these names, they are types of film (both 400 ISO) made by Ilford.
On a beautiful October day, I went out to do some erands. As usual (90% of cases) I don’t leave my house without a camera, so I had with me my beloved Yashica loaded with XP2. It just happened that a protest took part in the city centre and I took advantage of the situation thinking that I can capture movement and expressions. Here are the results:

Those are some really nice shots and the statue of the guy with the bike also caught my eye....
Back in the 70s, I used what I could get my hands on / afford. Kodak seemed more easily accesible at the camera shop I frequented until they started to stock Ilford. It was fractionally cheaper, so I swapped allegiances and never looked back. HP4 and FP5 were my "go-to" stocks and then I was persuaded to try XP2 on the basis that it could be C41 processed if I hadn't the time to process B&W traditionally. This would be a year or two after I started work - so 1981-ish. I still love using it and I have a roll in my Rolleiflex right now...
